This work is a medieval alchemical treatise, whose mystical and esoteric style led Carl Jung to study it as a manifestation of the subconscious of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the author to whom the work was attributed.
This codex, dating from the early 16th century, is preserved in the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin.
