The Breviculum is the life of the "enlightened doctor" seen through his disciple Thomas Le Myésier that includes his compiler program, the transcription and interpretation of the text of the miniatures as well as the miniaturist who made it and the history of the codex.
The original codex is preserved at the Baden State Library in Karlsruhe.
