The Breviculum is the life of the "enlightened doctor" seen through his disciple Tomás Le Myésier, which includes his compiling program, the transcription and interpretation of the miniature texts, as well as the miniaturist who created them and the history of the codex.
The original codex is preserved in the State Library of Baden in Karlsruhe.
